Club Program

The club program is the heart of the Camp Fire USA program. The club program focuses on our mission to Build Caring, Confident Youth and Future Leaders.

Our Traditional club groups meet once to twice a month with trained adult volunteers. They work out of our Camp Fire USA Program books that meet the McRel Educational Standards. The program covers five Trails:

  • Trail to Knowing Me
  • Trail to Family and Community
  • Trail to Creativity
  • Trail to the Environment
  • Trail to the Future

They also work on community service projects and join in on council wide family outings. Youth in the club program also have opportunities to go to our resident camp (Tannadoonah) in Vandalia, Michigan.

We also have our staff-run groups through schools, churches, and community centers in the afternoon and evenings. These groups allow the youth to participate in the Traditional Program once a month, and enjoy the council wide activities with their families.

All youth ages 5 to 21 can be a part of the Camp Fire Program.

Adult Volunteer mentors are the age 18 years and up.

We are youth centered.

We engage the entire family in fun outcome-rich activities.

We are welcoming and inclusive.

We build youth and adult partnerships.

We provide service to others.
