About Camp Fire USA River Bend Council
Camp Fire USA River Bend Council is an organization for girls AND boys and whose mission is to build caring, confident youth and future leaders. Our vision is to provide fun and positive environments, and foster a sense of belonging. Our positive role models and programs encourage family involvement, service to others and promote the development of social skills for building the youth of today into the leaders of tomorrow.
The Council served over 2,000 youth in 2007 with more than 50 volunteers/mentors. Many spouses and other volunteers for served for short-term projects. Generous donors, United Way, grants, and donations from service organizations support the Council.
Camp Fire USA River Bend Council is eager to serve children and adults. The dedication of the six core staff members is an asset to the Council!
